I never understood how Alice Hyatt was making the money she was making at the diner was virtually minimum wage and she wore very nice clothes outside the diner.

Alice's clothes were nice, but they weren't VERY nice or expensive, like clothes from Saks Fifth Avenue. :lol: Plus, there were some episodes were we saw Alice wearing the same blouse or dress that she did in a previous episode. It was realistic.
