I do wish them both well but I really don't care about all of this.

I couldn't care less about it and won't be watching any of the coverage.

The first big royal wedding I saw was Diana and Charles. I know William and Kate's will be wonderful but when you have seen one, there is little reason to see another. I will probably forced to see clips of W&K for it will be all over the tv channels.

I don't give even the slightest of darns, and I'm tired of all the coverage.

Sometimes I feel that all the hype is manufactured by our own media. I don't know anyone personally who cares -- and I work in a ministry staffed by people from all over the world, including England.

My friend from England has a theory that Americans care more about the Royal Family than British people do. I think he's full of it!

I have a mild interest. Kate M. is such a doll, and I want to see her as a bride. There's a feeling of sadness for me, wishing that Diana was still alive. The wedding brings back memories of Charles and Diana's wedding. Such a sweet young bride, with her hopes for a bright future.

We all know now that it was all a farce, and she was chosen as a baby machine. This coupling is real, and I want to see it, but I can wait for the clips. No setting any alarm here.

Are you going to stay up/wake up early to watch it, or are you going to set your DVR tonight and call it good?

EDIT: Jack Cafferty is asking viewers this very question on CNN right now. I love that old grouch!

That's pretty much how I feel, too. I don't hate on them like it's trendy to do; they both seem like attractive, good hearted people who are just trying to do what they're supposed to in terms of pomp and circumstance, but it's all a bit too frothy and and lacy for me.

To each his own!

I still remember watching Diana's funeral in 1997, and the memory of William walking that entire procession with his head down was just heart breaking.

It's great to know that he has become, to all appearances, a decent person that his mother would be proud of, and is poised to be very happy in his marriage.

seeing as i'm british, i'm what you'd say qualified in answering this question.

i don't really care much. it's because they are royalty that they are getting all this coverage from the media. this would never happen with a 'normal' couple when they get wed.

but kate and will are a good match and would make a nice couple.

I live one house down from a church and I see a lot of people getting ready for weddings over there all the time. This is pretty much the same thing to me. I don't personally know the people so I really don't care. Its not like I want them to get divorced or have something go wrong with the wedding, I just really don't care to watch it.

I wish it was ME marrying Royalty!

Did you hear that House O'Hanover? I could have a royal lady to call mine!

I'll see it On Demand...if it's On Demand, it's not affecting my life right now.

Well, they've been shacking up for long enough, I suppose it's time to get married.

Real men don't get into this stuff. I know a lot of women like it, and that's fine with me. I got home tonight (thurs) and turned on Fox news, it looked like they weren't even running their regular programs, it was all about the wedding. And Shepard Smith seemed to be getting a little too much into it. I'm worried about him

Even though I'm Canadian and therefore a subject of the British Crown I don't really care about this wedding. I do however wish the bridal couple well.

That sir, would be the best way to describe this wedding.

I agree. William has always really been (at least in the public eye) the straight arrow, while Harry has always been getting in and out of trouble. But by all accounts, William has always been a good son and brother - and his resemblance to his mother is astounding. It's as if Diana had come back as a man, if that makes sense. So, if he and Kate are truly in love and want to be together, God bless them.

I agree Janice. I am taping the proceedings. I love weddings. Especially Royal weddings! I guess you could say that I am mildly interested!

I would love to be there. I would love seeing the queen, the horses, guards, carriages. The whole atmosphere would be exciting.

Who cares about royal wedding if your aren't invited ? :p
If somebody invites me for royal wedding, then i would be interested in it, and the fraction would be 1% :)

I do care a bit. I recorded the BBC America transmission (was planning to get up and watch it, but I had a terrible sinus headache and just wanted to sleep) and I've been watching some of the post-wedding coverage. The tradition aspect has always fascinated me, the guards, the protocol, etc. :)

Prince Albert II of Monaco is also getting married this year (July), but it will most likely not get any attention from the media.

OH Nuts!

Well I wouldn't say I have 0% interest - more like 5-10% - it is history after all - but certainly no wheres near the top of my news interests.

A LOT. A TON. I can't tell you how much I love this stuff! I took the day off of work, got up at 3:45am and taped it - and had a glass of champaigne to celebrate.

Now, to put things in perspective, I was just there. I went to London three weeks ago on vacation and was at Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey, so I had a special interest. But yeah, I'm a complete sucker for the royals. :D

I'm with you. It was a happy occasion, and the world doesn't unite to celebrate happy occasions often enough, IMO.

Loved it! Everything was perfect--no messing up her groom's name like Diana did LOL! (Not to speak ill of the tragically taken.) Trees inside the abbey, so original...a classy, tasteful gown...a Bible reading unusual to a wedding and perfectly read. A sermon based on a quote from a saint with the bride's name. And the music....OMG, especially that written especially for the occasion! I went right on Amazon after the original airing and looked to see if it was on CD and pre-ordered it the following Friday, along with stuff for my kid's birthday (free shipping, mind you)!

Doesn't effect me politically or personally, but emotionally it should have hit anyone who watched it right in the heart!
