Bad news everyone...if the info on my Bresnan Cable listings is right (and it usually is for the Hub), they will be skipping over a few season 11 episodes, including the finale! Here are the episodes not scheduled to air from season 11:

Good News, Bad News
Like Mother, Like Daughter
Arthur, Arthur
Passages (Parts 1 & 2) (the series finale)

Next week, all 8 episodes aired Mon-Thurs. will be Marion-themed episodes (probably a Mother's Day marathon of sorts.) The next week, they resume season 11 with "Low Notes" and "School Dazed" airing on Monday May 9, and "Fonzie's Spots" and "Fonzie Moves Out" airing Tues May 10. Then, Wed. May 11 starts over at the first two episodes, "All the Way" and "The Lemon."

Honestly, I really don't care about "Like Mother Like Daughter," I don't remember seeing "Good News Bad News." "Arthur Arthur" was good because Fonzie learns of his long-lost brother. But I'm really bummed they won't be airing the two part series finale "Passages." It kinda stinks when you've been watching the series in order. At least I've seen it so I know what happens, but it would be nice to see it again. Plus, there are probably those watching who haven't seen it, so they will be left kinda hanging as to how the series resolves.

Anyone know why they might be doing this? We know they skipped some episodes before (a lot of season 5). It just seems odd to skip the finale.

Yes, that's the way my U-verse guide has it scheduled for the Hub as well, that really is sucky. I've watched the entire series this time through from start to finish to fill in the gaps in my memory, especially a lot of these last 3-4 seasons that I'm not sure i EVER saw due to growing up and stuff....but now that I've seen them I can see why i might have forgotten them. :) ANYWAY, fortunately I recorded "Passages" a while back when it used to air on TVLAND or someplace, so I can watch that for closure after these last few episodes air this week. Even BETTER news for EVERYONE, the few episodes mentioned above they're skipping over...I just watched them on youtube....so go THERE for closure...YAY!

But STILL...how can they not air the series finale, especially before starting it all over again??? That's just not right. :(

Darn.. Problem is, on youtube, depending who has it, the audio and video are not in sync.

i have the original PASSAGES from abc but i liked arthur, arthur as well as some of the others listed.i was curious to see how they were going to cut up the series final because tv land destroyed it.oh well fonzie spots and fonzie moves out are both really good episodes.i just don't understand why they cant show all the episodes it really pisses me off.

That does suck. If anything I sometimes think its better that they air shows from the beginning and then when the show starts to stink, go back to the beginning. Look at Happy Days, Full House, Family Matters, Growing Pains etc. The first few seasons were good but then it just wasnt good anymore.

With that being said, I have watched the whole series of Happy Days, and even though I think this last season isnt as good as the Richie yrs. they should still show all of them. Btw, they skip the series finale, yet they show this one? I'm watching right now, with The Fonz dating this girl and it turns out the girl is dead. Very twlight zone.

Btw, can someone describe the ones they are going to skip. I know Passages is the series finale but what about the other ones?

Good News, Bad News
Like Mother, Like Daughter
Arthur, Arthur

Good News, Bad News is about Chachi getting a gig to go on tour with the Beach Boys, but before he leaves finds out via a physical that he has diabetes.

Like Mother, Like Daughter (a rare undiscussed episode) is an old flame of Marion's returns and dates Joanie. Fonzie comes to the hotel room where Joanie is having dinner with this old flame/older man and accidentally knocks out Mr. C.!

Arthur, Arthus is Fonzie's half brother that he didn't know he had comes to Milwaukee to inform him that their father died.

I just noticed this today when looking ahead on the schedule.

If anyone wants to complain, go to hubworld.com, and on the bottom there is a link to "Viewer Relations", which is a general Discovery networks site. There, you can choose the network and show and leave a comment, and they say that they will e-mail a response back within a week. I left a message that I thought this was a bad decision for them, and that a lot of us were looking forward to seeing that episode again. If enough people complain, maybe they will change their mind, or at least give their reasoning or mention when it might be shown.

they pay to show these series why not show the programs from beginning to end,why skip certain episodes to get back to the beginning again.
