Why is "Gloria's Riddle" one of the worst episodes I've seen?
a) The answer to the riddle is so obvious that it's ridiculous
b) It portrays men as so stupid and hateful that women ought to revolt
c) There was only one funny scene in the whole episode
d) All of the above

I love this episode. Maybe you are so young you don't understand. When this episode aired it was very rare for women to be doctors. Women were just becoming visible in professions that were male dominated.
If you are watching it from today's perspective or someone born after 2005 then yes maybe someone would get the riddle. If you think the episode is revolting for women then you must hate the entire show. The entire show showcased women taking a backseat to men. The entire premise of the show was a younger couple living with an older and traditional couple in the women's lib movement.

I've told this riddle to SO MANY people and none of them have gotten it! My grandpa was even like, "Well, in this new age culture, I guess the little boy had TWO daddies?"
