Two years after divorcing husband and "I Love Lucy" co-star Desi Arnaz, Lucille Ball hit the airwaves again, starring in this Emmy-winning sitcom as Lucy Carmichael, a single mom whose madcap schemes invariably land her in hot water.

Early seasons also feature Ball's old sidekick Vivian Vance helping the new Lucy bungle through her adventures.

Later seasons co-star Gale Gordon as Mr. Mooney, Lucy's short-tempered banker and boss.
