I know that she past away due to Lung Cancer. Did she chain smoke like so many great actors and actresses we lost? I notice in later years during interviews and guess appearances, her voice seemed a little more gruagy and horesed like. It wasn't that beautifulstrong voice it once was when she was in her prime.

I think I remember reading at the time of her passing that she had quit smoking some years ago so she obviously did smoke and I have seen a lot of pitures of her from the 60s/70s and she's holding a cigarrete in 90% of them.

smh.....I guess the damage was done. She was beautiful simply breath taking back in the day. The samething happened to Lucille Ball and Audrey Meadows voices from damage of smoking . Which sadly cost them there lives as well..:(

I had a crush on her when she was on The Bob Newhart Show. Her and Bob Newhart were convincing as a married couple. Out of Bob's three TV wives Suzanne was the best out of the three. Then Mary Frann and the the worst was Carlene Watkins. The latter was way too young for Bob. I heard the viewers complained and they had to cut their scenes together when they were on Bob.

In her later years I couldn't watch her anymore, because I couldn't comfortably listen to her voice. It was too painful to hear what she'd done to herself.
