Combined with disks 1 and 2, that makes 42 of the 79 eps from years 1 and 2.

Well, this is just driving me crazy. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get these burned properly to a dvd. I downloaded IMGburn software, I've followed the directions about the Video_TS folder, etc, and yet every disc I've made (probably close to 20?) will not play!

If anyone has any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi again.

Gee, I'm not sure what to tell you. Are other burns working okay?

One idea. Perhaps your burner/player is getting confused because of the lack of an "AUDIO_TS" directory.

So try this:

create a new directory called "Ozzie" (without the quotes)

then create two sub-directories inside that:

AUDIO_TS
VIDEO_TS

load the downloaded files into the VIDEO_TS subdirectory

then point Image Burn to the VIDEO_TS subdirectory (and cross your fingers)

Perhaps you have an unusually sensitive player.

Also, what media do you use? Taiyo Yuden is really the best and can be gotten in several places across the internet for $20-22 per 100.

Well, shoot. Thanks so much for your help, but that didn't work either. Argh, I'm getting so discouraged with this.

I can tell right off after I add the folder to IMGburn that something is wrong, because when I hit the calculator, instead of calculating the space available, it just flickers these bars, and they disappear. I burn the disc anyway, and when it's in my dvd player, it says Error and won't play.

I tried Roxio burn and that disc will actually play on my computer, but it's out of order random snippets. And it won't play on the dvd player.

I'm using Maxell dvds, but I'm guessing that's not what I'm doing wrong. I haven't tried to burn anything else with IMGburn because I don't have any other of these types of files to burn. But I have made dvds with my dvd ripper and windows dvd maker with no problems.

I have posted a thread to the IMGburn support forum, maybe someone technical can help :) I'm making myself crazy over this, but I want these episodes on disc! Again, thanks for your help.

Whenever I have to burn a DVD, I use a combination of two programs,
DVD Shrink (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_Shrink), and DVD Decrypter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_Decrypter).

First, download and install both programs. You can find them at www.videohelp.com

Second, like EJK22 posted, make a folder named "Ozzie" (no quotes), create two folders named AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS inside the Ozzie file, and download all the DVD image files in the VIDEO_TS folder.

Third, start DVD Shrink and click on the "Open Files" button, search for the "Ozzie" folder and double-click on the VIDEO_TS folder (see attached pic). Hopefully, if you have all the DVD files downloaded in the VIDEO_TS folder, in a minute you will see stuff loaded up in the "Full Disc Backup" and "Compression Settings" parts of the DVD Shrink window.

Fourth, put a blank DVD in and click on the "Backup!" button and select the option that makes an ISO disc image and burn with DVD Decrypter.

DVD Shrink will then turn the DVD files into a ISO disc image. Then it will automatically start DVD Decrypter, which will start burning the ISO disc image to the blank DVD.

The finished DVD should work in a DVD player.

Hope this works.

Since there are apparently all these O&H episodes floating around in cyberspace that aren't on the Mill Creek 100 episode set, I wish that Mill Creek would go ahead and put together another set--I'd gladly pay the $20 or so for it rather than do all this! Although one of Rick's sons--I think it was Matthew--said among his nice comments about Dave after Dave's passing that he hoped that Dave's family would work with Sam to make more episodes of the show available, so maybe we'll see some that way.

In the meantime, I've found youtube to be an easy way to see episodes that I don't have on DVD--new ones seem to go up fairly often and you really don't need to worry about burning them onto disc anyway b/c they don't seem to be in much danger of being taken off of youtube.

Thanks so much for taking the time to help me:) I was actually finally able to figure it out with some help from the IMGburn forum. Apparently it had something to do with my "'Hide extensions for known file types" box on IE. Once that was fixed, I just had to change the extension on the downloaded files from .MPEG to .VOB and it worked like a charm!

I have done one disc, and am working on the other two. I like having the episodes on disc because I like to watch in my bedroom, and there's no computer in there.

Again, I really appreciate you taking the time to help me!
