Definitely Ginny. She was the main reason I watched the show back in 1976-77 and after she left I only watched it one more year before I got bored with it.

IMO, Ginny was kind of an extraneous character. She really didn't serve much purpose on the show to me and when she left, I hardly noticed.

And I thought Alex stayed on the show to the end? Or maybe I missed some later episodes??

I was sad when David left but there was really only so much that could be done with the character.
