"Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" has been renewed for a third season.
The show will continue through 2012. [EW]

...what else is NBC going to fill the hour following Jay Leno with? An hour-long version of "LAST CALL WITH CARSON DALY" (we all know how well that worked out on Fridays)? Another edition of "POKER AFTER DARK"? Exhuming Johnny Carson to host an "enhanced" version of...no, that's the network's secret plan to replace Jay Leno by next season. ;)

Anyway, Jimmy deserves another season.....

I think Jimmy Fallon is best latenight talkshow host on the air right now. He is the most original of all the hosts and the one who seems to enjoy his job the most. I agree. This renewal was a no- brainer!
