I'm going to visit Janice this fall! :D It's going to be so much fun! I can't wait. :) We will chat, hang out, watch tv, go shopping, etc. I think it's so cool that I will get to meet her. She's a great friend and it will be a blast. I will meet Lou and the kitties, Lily and Cesar. :cat:

A nice lunch at Faneuil Hall, check out the Bunker Hill Monument; Boston has a fantastic Theater District, so I'll check out if anything good is in town that week and get tickets. Lots of shopping, eating out and laughing.

Lou's had a running joke with me for years. He drives me everywhere, always has, so he calls me Miss Daisy. He'll say, "Yes, Miss Daisy". He's been joking now that he'll be driving Miss Daisy and her friend, lol.

That's cool. I've been to Boston twice and I've been meaning to go there again. If possible you should check out the CHEERS bar, the replica one is over at Faneuil Hall.

The only thing I didn't like about my trip was that most of the restaurants are closed by 10-11pm. Im in NY so I'm used to places being open 24/7 and other parts of the country don't work that way.

Oh, and another thing Jenny...not only will you be amongst marvelous company, but Boston is a great city to explore! (I know it pretty well - have a lot of relatives in the Boston area)

I got a great price. :) Originally, it was going to be nearly $450 plus $25 checked baggage fee each way. Then I found out if I flew on a Tuesday or Wednesday and came back on a Tuesday or Wednesday that it cut the price nearly in half. Of course, that reduced price is temporary. I think it's cool that I was able to get such a good deal. :) I'll go at the end of October. :cool:

Don't come to North Dakota. :lol: Most businesses are open 12pm - 6pm on Sundays. Limited hours on holidays too!

Well Jenny's off on a plane headed home now. Saying good-bye was difficult. I'll miss her. Her visit was perfect. A couple of shopping trips and eating out or ordering take-out...it was a vacation from the stove for me. The entire week, all I cooked was grilled cheese one day and breakfast another time.

Jenny's every bit as sweet as I thought she would be. She's game for anything. has a great sense of humor and is just an all-around fun person. I hope she can visit again next year.

I made it home. My cats were glad to see me and vice versa. :) It's sad though that my trip had to come to an end. I agree, saying goodbye was hard.
