Grant Tinker and Mary Tyler Moore offered everybody in the cast of TMTMS a contract with MTM Enterprises after the show ended EXCEPT Gavin Macleod. Incidentally, most of those shows developed under the MTM banner failed, while Macleod found success on his own with 'The Love Boat.'

Indeed he did Sonny. I wonder though why was he disrespected like that. I mean in the article above he said he held no ill feelings,but you have to imagine he must've felt at least somewhat slighted.
