Does any one remember a show called Tales From the Darkside? I was going thru some old tapes I had put up and came across these. I used to watch this years ago. I watched an episode called "Anniversary Dinner" which was one episode they never show. I think I know why, now! And one called "A New Man" with Vic Tayback. I never did figure out what that one was about! I really enjoy this show.

TFTDS is one of my favorite anthology series, always loved watching it when it was originally aired. It was produced by George Romero.
The Tales From The Darkside movie is pretty good.
The series has been released on DVD in case you weren't aware.

It's one of my favorites, too, especially the first two years. It seems those years were creepier than the others, in a Twilight Zone sort of way. Yes, I saw where they were on DVD. Can't wait to get them.

Also one of my favorite horror series. Here is my rendition of the opening theme if anyone cares to listen. This was the 2nd and final take I did with no effects on my voice. Sometimes, you just gotta get the evil out! I also do a mean Vincent Price Thriller.

My favorite word by far in the original theme... "BUT"
Have you ever heard somebody put more evil into a short one syllable word? That is the turning point in the whole theme.

Thanks for watching and appreciating it. Sorry, but I have no idea where to find it. I don't own any series online or otherwise. I watched the whole series about 10 years ago when Netflix was still sending DVDs through the mail. Unfortunately, I like you am having trouble finding everything on my current "to watch" list of 150+ shows.

I used to watch the first-run episodes in the '80s. If I remember correctly, I was catching the series on WGN-9 out of Chicago. Considering I wasn't interested in too many dramas back then, this one was an exception. Good stuff...!
