Sadly, the union wouldn't last very long, as Carolyn passed away the following year. But I'm so happy that she found a wonderful man to share those last months with. She was already loyal to her new Capitol family - virtually the entire cast was in attendance, as was John Astin!! :cool: :D

Carolyn was so beautiful. I really loved her in King Creole with Elvis. It seems Elvis had a little something for her when filming but he couldn't act on it. She was married to the director of the movie at the time.

Carolyn really was so much more than Morticia Addams (though none of us will dispute the fact that she was perfect in the role - and as the loopy Ophelia). She was a beautiful, gracious lady and will always be remembered with love.
