View Full Version : Do real life murderers from UM view this site?
unslvd mr e 04-17-2011, 02:56 AM i had a cousin that was murdered in 1995. before her killer was caught, detectives were searching for the killer, and some detectives went undercover at my cousins funeral and saw a suspicious looking person that didnt really belong their. the suspicious person ended up being the killer. she was pretending to be a detective, so they found out that she was not a real detective and had a phony badge. she only got 5 years in prison. we thought she would be in prison for life or at least like 40 years.
anyways, with my true story, it got me thinking. of all the murderers that never got caught and were profiled on UM, do you think at least a few of them have visited this website? do you think maybe one is a member of this site?
Killarney Rose 04-17-2011, 05:56 PM I have often wondered that myself. And yes, I am sure some could be a member here and actually discussed the murder they committed.
CuriousMind90 04-17-2011, 08:14 PM I've also considered that one or more members here, or one or more people who have posted comments on the Un-named site are probably perps in at least one or two cases, if not more. I actually thought of making this same thread a few weeks ago.
For an uncaught murderer, what better place is there to hide if not in plain sight, where a perp could see what people generally think with regard to his/her crimes now, while seeming to be just another innocent speculator.

Sorry about your cousin:(. I totally agree that at least a couple of murderers have looked on this site before. I imagine when you commit a crime like that there is always a chance you get caught so you keep on your toes and look for new tips and clues that have been released to the public. I also think some of them could possibly get off on knowing they are infamous for what they have done and have averted capture.
RobinW 04-18-2011, 12:39 AM Well, there's no official proof that any murderer has visited this forum, but I've seen posters come in here and defend some of the guiltier-looking murder suspects on UM, such as Paul Pollis, Judy Groezinger and Don Dixon. They claim to have inside knowledge that these people are innocent, but always seem to dodge any follow-up questions when people ask them for more information. It's entirely possible that these posters are actually the murder suspects themselves.
As an example, you'll find a bunch of incoherent posts in this thread from someone called "joshmoe" saying that that Paul Pollis is innocent. At first, he claims to be a "friend" of Paul Pollis, but then states he is Paul Pollis himself!

It is definitely plausible but I think it would be hard to believe that they would be a regular poster, maybe just paying attention to very specific or limited cases.
crystaldawn 04-18-2011, 11:18 AM I think its very possible killers from UM cases have read or even posted on this board. Many times when you google someone from UM's name our board is one of the first hits. Not to mention that Paul Pollis has posted on here at least once and many of us think he is a killer.

When did Paul Pollis post here? Got a link? Would love to see that guy's posts.

Just click on my link from earlier in this thread and look for posts from a guy named "joshmoe" who alternates between claiming he is a friend of Paul Pollis and that he is Paul Pollis himself.
TheCars1986 04-18-2011, 01:11 PM I think Don Dixon and the co-worker from the Mary Morris segment both posted here before.
asmitty 04-18-2011, 11:02 PM I have to admit (although it's not the greatest thing) this thought crosses my mind every time someone posts claiming to be family and/or friend of the victim. If a perpetrator comes on this site and wants to post about there crime, this would seem a likely story as to why they have so much information. Also, some of the more twisted perps might get off on teasing us who are devoted to discussing these cases.
I firmly believe that almost all of the people claiming to know the victims are legitimate but this thought crosses the back of my mind whenever I read one of these posts.
rts29803 04-19-2011, 11:10 AM It has to be almost certain that some of the individuals have scavenged the internet to see the status and interest of their "activities"
LooksLikeCRicci 04-19-2011, 10:00 PM I miss Paul Pollis. That was a fun couple of weeks. :)
TripleG 04-20-2011, 01:33 AM Oh no doubt they do. They are either looking up info on the case or just getting their kicks for getting away with murder.
Its a very good possibility, and I've thought about it myself. If I was a killer/suspect I'd probably want to know how people feel about me too.
Every time I read a long thread about a murder it always crosses my mind that the real killer is sitting on his ass looking and laughing his ass off at us.
I think Don Dixon and the co-worker from the Mary Morris segment both posted here before.
Wait someone actually defended Don Dixon, and vehemently? I want to see this. Links to the posts?

Look for the post from "mssamspade", which is one of the most surreal things ever written on this board. It just reeks of being written by Don Dixon himself, especially the infamous bit about him and Eric Tamiyasu sharing Taco Bell lunches together.

This is the only time this person ever posted on this board and I don't think they ever responded to any PMs or inquiries.
rts29803 04-20-2011, 03:52 PM The post from the Tamiyasu case very, very interesting indeed...thats for posting the link Robin
Didn't someone email or message the infamous Jule Caylor?? or maybe through facebook?

I joined the board three years ago, and nothing has made me laugh quite as much as the Taco Bell bit. That's a Don Dixon thought if there ever was one.

Well, Jule's Facebook page (complete with current photo of him and a new female companion) is easily accessible, but I'm not sure if anyone here has ever had the nerve to contact him. However, I believe that someone here once got in touch with Larry Gibson via Facebook and apparently, he still maintains his innocence in the disappearance of his son and claims he's still searching for him  .

Anyone need help making a salad?
