It seems like there are many ways for the legendary character of Erica Kane (Susan Lucci, All My Children) could live on. I like the idea of her joining the cast of Hot in Cleveland, or being the star of a new night time drama, called Pine Valley! Anybody have any other ideas??

I know nothing about Soap operas, but abc's move seems a bit drastic to me - couldn't they have merged the two shows into one? or possibly just carried over a couple of the more popular characters?

does this mean abc has NO more soaps at all now?
