and here are the teams that will be competing the Preliminary Round of the Playoffs:

The Western Conference Side:

#1 San Antonio Spurs vs. #8 Memphis Grizzlies
#4 Oklahoma City Thunder vs. #5 Denver Nuggets
#3 Dallas Maverick vs. #6 Portland Trailblazers
#2 Los Angeles Lakers vs. #7 New Orleans Hornets

The Eastern Conference Side:

#1 Chicago Bulls vs. #8 Indiana Pacers
#4 Orlando Magic vs. #5 Atlanta Hawks
#3 Boston Celtics vs. #6 New York Knicks
#2 Miami Heat vs. #7 Philadelphia 76ers

The Winners will advance in the NBA Playoff Quarterfinals
