Alice Cooper's official site has announced the shock-rock overlord's first-ever holographic "4D" concert, slated to take place in the UK's historic Battersea Power Station next month.

The "Jägermeister Ice Cold Event" will feature holographic projections of Alice and his original band lineup of bassist Dennis Dunaway, drummer Neal Smith and guitarist Michael Bruce, with Steve Hunter filling in on lead guitar for the late Glen Buxton.

Their performance will coincide with the release of Cooper's Old School box set, and it's historic in other ways too.

Alice and his fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will be transmitted to the UK stage on May 11th for this "holographic, audience-interactive stage experience... the audience will be part of an exclusive, interactive show they will never forget."

The show also features sets by DJs Zane Lowe, Eddy Temple Morris and Ian Camfield, a live performance from The King Blues, and holographic visuals "incorporating Battersea Power Station's iconic architecture."

"We couldn't resist this," Alice said in the announcement.

"Working with Jägermeister to appear as holograms on the other side of the Atlantic is the ultimate experience, a cutting-edge conjuring trick that celebrates the future and our history. We can't wait to see the results."
