"Glee"Receives Top Honor at GLAAD Media Awards

"Glee" and "Modern Family" tied for top honors at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards in Los Angeles Sunday. Both comedy shows took home the award for Outstanding Comedy Series.
Accepting the award from comedian Joel McHale was "Glee's" Chris Colfer and his TV dad Mike O'Malley who remarked, "I've yet to say a funny thing on the show."
"Glee" guest star Kristin Chenoweth nabbed the Vanguard Award for her work to increase the visibility and understanding of the LGBT community in the media.
Other GLAAD Media Awards were presented in New York last month.
The remaining awards ceremony for this year will be on May 14 in San Francisco.
