I know this thread might get deleted because it has nothing really to do with Unsolved Mysteries, to which I apologize.

But L.A. Noire is an upcoming video game from Rock* games (the company that made Grand Theft Auto) that puts up in the role of Cole Phelps a war hero turned police detective in Los Angeles during the late 1940's.

The game is getting a lot of hype, because it could possibly be the next step in where video games are going as a medium. It's even going to be the first video game screened at the Tribeca Film Festival later this month.

Anyway the game has to do with solving mysteries, the developers at Rock* were even given access to the actual LAPD crime files, to give us the fictionalized cases in the game.

So being the huge Unsolved Mysteries fan I am really looking forward to this game and being able to solve mysteries. I'm actually hoping they do a fictionalized version of "The Black Dahlia" and there's a small tie to that one, in that Robert Stack played Eliot Ness on The Untouchables and some people have theorized that The Cleavland Torso Killer (who Ness was unable to capture) may have also been the one who killed "The Black Dahlia"

So I just figured I'd post this and see what you all thought. Check out some of the trailers for the game, it's really amazing looking thus far. I can't wait for May 17th!

Also forgot to mention, can't go wrong with it being in the 40's to which you get the Film Noir style.
