Me and ks were trying to figure out (I think it was yesterday...right? eh...anyway), what is was about Nancy...and we can't put our finger on it. My neighbor came by a couple of days ago, and my mom told him about Nancy and how I met Lisa Whelchel...blah blah blah, and then he asked me why she was my 'hero', and I couldn't tell him. I don't know! There's just something about her that like...just, draws me to her, and I have no idea what it is. I hope we're not the only ones that feel this way...lol :crazy: Anyway...ahem. You feel that way?

I think its the fact that Nancy McKeon isnt like most actresses... who try to publicize themselves by prancing all over hollywood like princesses.... Nancy is just... you know.... the neighbor next door i mean she is so original and unique there arent enough words in the english dictionary that can describe her.... she creates characters that are just so intriging and interesting and people can either relate to her or just admire her own touch of causualty with a mix of edgyness and sexuality with the strength and courage she brings forth with her characters... thats what i think. Another thing is... she is just real... she doesnt try to be somebody.... she is just herself and she has great chemistry with all the talented actresses and actors she works with.. and it just works for her.... she is just a wonderful actress.. to make it simple LOL:happyface :D :D :D :D

That is definitley the BEST explanation I've heard/read of so far! I feel the same way. It definitely has something to do wiht her trying not to prnace around like Hollywood Princesses...LOL! And the fact that she was on FOL, of course.

I dont know why i initially idolized her but I agree about the "real" person thing... I mean she doesnt get enough recognition but she does get some, and its all because of her acting and how good she does and what a convincing charecter she plays... When J LO is criticized for her acting and yet she's still famose because she let her boobs hang out at the grammys... and emmys... and everything.
