View Full Version : Barbara On TV!
CAJeannieFan57 04-05-2011, 11:47 PM With Barbara Eden's book out now, she has been on TV once already this week - she was on Monday's Good Morning America. You can probably find the 5 minute clip on the website for the show.
On Friday, Barbara will be on the Piers Morgan Show on CNN - here that's on at 6 pm (Pacific Time), but check your local listings.
On Weds. 13th, she will be on CBS' The Talk. Once again, check your local listings.
She is also out and about doing book signings. One is at the LA Times Festival of Books on Sunday, May 1st (USC campus). She's talking at 12:10 pm on the LA Times Stage. There is also a signing on April 16th in Los Angeles.
TV Knowledge Fan 04-08-2011, 01:02 AM ...April 7th, where she announced she was donating her own "Jeannie bottle" to the Smithsonian. If I tune into "THE TALK" on the 13th....who am I gonna see?
She was also a guest during the last 15 minutes of "THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW" (also yesterday).
I will definitely be watching as to how Piers Morgan interviews her tonight.
{hopefully, much better than Wendy- whose idea was it for her to try to mention how old Barbara is? ["WHAT????"]}

TV Knowledge Fan 04-09-2011, 01:01 AM ...no appearance on "PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT", due to the last-minute wrangling in the Senate over the current federal budget. The entire hour was postponed [and it was taped- otherwise Piers would have joined Wolf Blitzer in the live coverage pre-empting it].
DARN!!!!!!!!
:(
Maybe it'll be rescheduled for next week.....?
:tv:
IDoJOnline 04-09-2011, 01:32 AM As soon as it's cleared up it will be on her website, facebook and twitter pages. It was aggravating that they had to pre-empt it.
TV Knowledge Fan 04-09-2011, 01:45 AM Thank you for your response, 'IDoJ'. Yes, it was frustrating not to see it....

catlover79 04-09-2011, 02:33 AM I just checked her book out of the library. I can't wait to read it!! :D
howierules86 04-09-2011, 08:51 AM I saw her on "Live With Regis and Kelly" last Tuesday as well, and I can actually say that Barbara Eden still looks amazingly beautiful for someone her age. :happyface
catlover79 04-09-2011, 12:15 PM Not bad for someone who turns 77 in August. She was born the same year as Florence Henderson, and they both still look wonderful!!! :D
CAJeannieFan57 04-09-2011, 10:31 PM Sorry, I was passing on information that I got. I didn't know she was on The Talk the other day - it was supposed to be the 13th. She's been pre-empted twice on Piers Morgan Show.

catlover79 04-10-2011, 12:40 AM Thanks for the heads up, Donna!! Hopefully it won't be too much longer before we get to see Barbara on all these shows!!
CAJeannieFan57 04-15-2011, 07:36 PM Thanks for the heads up, Donna!! Hopefully it won't be too much longer before we get to see Barbara on all these shows!!
In our area (San Diego), Barbara was on "The Talk" on Wednesday as scheduled. I recorded it and finally got to watch it this afternoon when I got home. I felt so bad for her when she spoke about her problems with her son Matthew. She was so very gracious about it with the hostesses and host of that show (which I've never seen before, as I am normally not at home when it's on).
So far I haven't heard about her being rescheduled for Piers Morgan. If I hear, I'll let you all know.

ansara1 04-18-2011, 10:30 AM I heard the Piers Morgan Tonight episode with Barbara and Kim Katrell is supposed to air this week but am not sure of which night. Does anyone know???? ThanksK)
CAJeannieFan57 04-18-2011, 11:32 AM Barbara should be on Piers Morgan Show on the 22nd (Friday). YMMV ...
ansara1 04-18-2011, 12:33 PM Thanks! I'll be sure to tune in Friday!!!!

TV Knowledge Fan 04-23-2011, 02:51 AM ....was finally shown last night on "PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT". Even though she was her usual charming self, I get the feeling that Piers didn't know that much about her, or hardly read her book (the same way her husband Jon was when they first met, who admitted he never watched "I DREAM OF JEANNIE" at all!).

catlover79 04-23-2011, 03:10 AM Isn't that funny? It seems like many show-biz spouses had never seen the work their significant others were famous for when they met (see also Maureen McCormick and Mary McDonough, to name a couple). These tend to be the longest-running marriages. :D
