I think so. Her killer is out there, or locked up somewhere. He will be found. And he shall meet Justice. Wherever he is now, if still alive and free, I hope whatever smidgen of a conscience or soul he may have will eat his body alive with the knowledge that 20 years ago he robbed a family of a young girl in the prime of her lie and her unborn baby who never had a chance at life.

He is either dead, in jail, or alive somewhere. If he is alive, he needs to be in jail, if not for Angela, then for any other past or future victims as well.

I hope with everything in my heart that her abductor and probable murderer is caught. I hope he feels just as much fear as she must've. Let him rot.

Does anybody know what happened to her Partner? I'm assuming he went on to marry and possibly have Kids. Has he ever been shown on any other Crime Fighting Shows? :(

Last I read, yes, he did end up going on to marry and doesn't even live in Missouri anymore.

It has never been proven that she was murdered. She may very well be alive somewhere - think of the Bobbi Parker/Randolph Dial case.

Actually killers can and very often do go without being caught in our modern age. Radom crimes like this where the perp has no connection to the victim are very difficult to solve. One of the only ways a crime like this can be solved is for the abductor to continue his actions. The crimes he commits the more evidence he leaves. Look how many murders your average serial killer gets away with before being caught. If this guy moved on to another part of the country or is in jail for another crime he more then likely will never be brought to justice.

-Eliminate him as being an already known serial killer from that time and region
-Do a comprehensive search of all arrested and imprisoned(for a prolonged period) in the region for two years after April 1991. A serial killer will likely not take a voluntary two year break. Focus on violent criminals. See if any mugshots match description. Investigate who they "were" in 1991--their associations, relationships, etc. The truck could eventually be traced (by means of the original sale) to this person or someone they knew/know.

i agree he's out there somewhere, but a killer can just disappear, especially if it's the type i think it is. a loner type who isnt really known by many people, someone suggested fisherman and that wouldnt surprise me if he did that either, but i think he's a loner, back woods type guy, hopefully they find him.

I doubt they've been doing it. Clinton, MO is a small town, with a small police department I imagine, with probably a small budget. This isn't the LAPD or NYPD we're talking about...I doubt they've been that obsessively thorough just for one woman who (as far as I know) wasn't connected to or related to anyone "important."

The guy is out there, either in jail, dead or free. He didn't disappear off the planet. They need to try new tactics.

I mean, come on. How many bearded men, who wore eyeglasses, who wore a baseball cap and overalls drove a very specific late 60s to early 1970s Ford 1-50 pick up truck in 1991? We got a pretty damn specific description of both the suspect, and a pretty specific description of the vehicle used to abduct her. We even got a detailed description of his possible MO (circling the parking lot until he made sure his 'prey' was alone; interacting with his 'prey' before making his move) from the victim herself.

I think when the police did a search on those 1,500 or so pick ups matching Angie and Rob's description in 1991, they had the suspect or an affiliate of the suspect right under their nose and overlooked them for some reason, probably accidentally or due to inadequate resources or lack of time or any number of reasons. If they kept careful notes from that investigation of who the people that owned similar pick ups in 1991 were, those people--yes, all 1,600--should be re-evaluated.

Having read all of those recent articles, the police are still searching her case "as if it happened a week ago" - the world is not full of dark and scary people, ya know.

I dunno, all these unsolved murders, disappearances, etc just lessen my faith in humanity. You go to the page of the Charley Project and it just opens your eyes to how horrible and nightmarish life can be. So many young men and women taken long before their time, for nothing more than a demented mind's delight. I know life is unfair, but I'd say life is unfair bordering on cruel.

A woman like Angela Hammond should be alive today. I have a very moralistic view of these sort of things I guess; they upset me.
