Does anyone know how old Dennis' was suppose to be on the TV Show or if his age was ever mentioned? I've only seen the first season thanks to the DVDs and I don't believe it was mentioned in those episodes. I ask because in Alice's Birthday, Mr. Wilson mentions that Dennis' doesn't know how to write. At the time Jay North would have been 8 or 9 and kids that age know how to write so they obviously have him playing someone younger. Whats even stranger is Dennis' remarks that a fourth grader helped him with his sign however "years" is spelled "yeers". Did the writers really expect us to believe that a fourth grader can misspell such easy words?

BTW: Anyone who is on the fence about Season 1 should definitely take the plunge!

Not sure how old he was in the first season, but in the very first episode, Dennis is riding a tricycle. It was very odd. He's way too old to be riding a tricycle! In subsequent episodes, he has a scooter.
