Rihanna, in short shorts and with fiery red tight curls, graces the recent cover of Rolling Stone. In the interview the R&B singer opens up about the restraining order against Chris Brown.

“We don’t have to talk again ever in my life. I just didn’t want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did to me was a personal thing—it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows — that definitely made it difficult for him. That was the only thing it was going to change, so I didn’t care. But you can never please people. One minute I’m being too hard, and the next minute I’m a fool because I’m not being hard enough.”

Days before the 53rd annual Grammy Awards, February 13th, Rihanna allowed for the restraining order against Chris Brown to be eased. Chris Brown went to court late January to reduce the restraining order from “stay away” to “do not annoy.”

RapFix turned to the mean, real mean, streets for the fans reactions to what Rihanna had to say on Chris Brown.

“Been a Rihanna fan, (not fanatic), since she first started. Glad to see her grow to a mature, independent woman. I cannot believe you all went out and bought that CONVICTED assaulter’s CD. If he beat your sister/daughter, would you still have ponied up the cash?” an EW commenter said.

“You know, Rihanna says in Rolling Stone & songs she likes it rough and likes to be hit in the bedroom… well then I don’t blame Chris Brown.” @AmberTardcake tweeted.

Then there are the… well, we will just say more opinionated ones.

“I’ve read other excerpts from this article and I must say that she needs some serious help. I wouldn’t be surprised if years from now it was revealed that she enjoyed the beat down she endured. This girl is sick and I feel sorry for any man that she deals with.” Always, Miss Info commenter, said.

“Chris Brown and Rihanna are two separate artists and the past is the past! Let's not keep bringing up the past or these two together. He is done apologizing! This makes Rihanna look so bitter and weak. Lets support them &/or their music!” kasey_babii, MTV commenter, said. “Personally, I love them both. But I dislike Rihanna's live performances. Chris Brown always delivers. He is an amazing actor/rapper/singer/dancer/writer!”

It's sounds like neither one of them is emotionally and mentally healthy. I hope for both their sakes that each seek out and find they help they need.

I love how people are telling Rihanna how to deal with her personal issues. She's moved past it, and she never has to talk to him if she doesn't want to. Why do people want her to suffer more than she has or victimize herself more than she's already been? She's trying to enjoy her life and continue her career, and I think it's time the general public -- who, for the most part, has absolutely no personal stake in this at all -- to let her do that.

I have my doubts that she's completely moved past it. She probably felt some guilt about preventing him from performing on award shows and such. But, anyway, of course she can do whatever she wants. I just hope that she never falls for another worthless scumbag like him again.

Sometimes you gotta wonder if any of it truly happened or if it weren't all just a publicity stunt. A guy usually goes to jail and he can't decide his punishment. "Oh I don't like staying away so I'm gonna make the judge change it so it suits me". It just doesn't happen that way. A criminal can't decide if he's guilty or innocent. A rapist can't determine if he is allowed to roam from or go to prison. A murderer can't choose between living and getting the death penalty.

The fact Chris Brown got off so easy and Rihanna isn't making such a huge deal over it, means something can't be as it appears.

1)Chris Brown got off easy because he's Chris Brown. You or I don't have that luxury.

2)Rihanna is keeping quiet likely because 1)She was ordered to by the courts and 2)She's trying to move on.

Neither one is emotionally healthy, but Rihanna is far more scarred than Chris Brown is. I don't consider either one to be setting good examples for their younger fans.
