Ummm, I don't know. It's too bloody slow anyway! My computer's nothing special - it's just thrown together using bits and pieces from other computers. A friend of my father's set it up for me.
It's not brilliant but I won't complain cos without it I wouldn't be able to come here everyday (I'd have to actually go out and get a life!!!:eek: - scary thought!!)

Mine must be in reverse cause its soooo dam slow!

DSL....its wonderful! :) I can download music videos in like 10 minutes, mp3s in 30 seconds!

28,800bps. SO SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11:mad:

Got Cable. Slightly slower. Still Great.

(Filled 10 Gig on my 30 gig HD.) (That's nothing. One of my friends only has about 100 MB (1/10 gig left on his HD (It's only 20 Gig though)

Yeah. I have a lot of music and stuff. I probably have around 30 music videos-- they are around 40 MB each! And MP3s- maybe 4 meg (lol MEG!! that's my name!) each..probably have around 900. With all other programs I'm running- I'm using exactly half of my 17 gig hard drive. not bad...

Mines 56k...I want a DSL, they do offer it here, suprisingly, but its like 50 or 60 bux a month for the cheapest...so i guess no DSL for now...:(

It's worth the money. I think so anyway. You have a dedicated connection to the internet and its SUPER fast. Plus, you get a phone line out of the deal. :) But to get DSL, it first has to be offered where you live and you must live within like 1/2 mile of the phone station places. Anyway, if you're thinking about taking the plunge, I say do it. :)
