This convention has such a good guest list. I'm almost glad that I'm not able to attend because I couldn't afford it.

Most of them do charge for their autograph/s. The prices are not always the same and sometimes they go up or down depending on where they are at.

At a smaller convention their price may be lower because they figure they could make more money on a lower price.

At a large event, like San Diego Comic-Con, they may be a little higher because the people may be willling to pay more for them.

The standard rate now for most con-autographs are around $25.00 - $30.00

Some people charge much more than that, like Bill Shatner and Adam West who go for $80.00

From past events I got (from the Chiller list) Mike Lookinland and Butch Patrick.

Lookinland charged $20.00 per autograph where I was at and I can assume that that's what Susan and Geri will be charging as well.

Butch Patrick charged $10.00, but that was back in 1996.

Thanks for the info. Wow, I can see me easily blowing a LOT of money at those things, then. It all sounds very cool but honestly, I can't see me getting more than a few (and I mean less than 5) autographs at those rates. That plus the price of admission of the incredible cost of gas it would take to get there...maybe next year, when I'm richer.
