Charlie Sheen to appear on Drew Carey's new show

Mar 30, 2011

Charlie Sheen is returning to series television for one night… on GSN… on an improv show.

The actor will appear on Drew Carey’s upcoming "Improv-A-Ganza", a new primetime daily strip series that’s shot before a live audience at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Those expecting the latest round of Sheen mania, however, will likely be disappointed.

The network says the episode was taped in January, back in those innocent carefree days before we knew about warlocks and tiger blood.

Sheen’s episode airs April 12.

Drew Carey looks different to me, like he's lost weight or is aging fast. I can't put my finger on it. Has he been sick, does anyone know?

He has lost something like 80 pounds. I agree, the weight loss has really aged him.

If you look at recent episodes of TPIR, he looks to have put some of the weight back on....but in any case, if one does it for health reasons, then bravo.

Looks like Charlie's road show is off to a shaky start...maybe Drew should reconsider the invite...

...but now, billing him as a "special guest" might not be such a good idea.

Sheen's "one-man show" at New York's Radio City Music Hall laid an egg last night. And a bad one at that- people were walking out before it was over {that seems to be the norm during this tour}; the show ended a half-hour early; and there are rumors that there won't be a second show tonight....or any others!

It now appears that having Charlie Sheen as a guest on your favorite TV program is becoming more of a liability than an asset....

Yeah, on his appearance on The Talk this week, he said he gained some of it back over the winter but is working on taking it off again. He is on a no carbs diet.
