I am very glad that studd911 remembers the Oscar nominated motion picture directed by George Lucas in 1973.

AMERICAN GRAFFITI may be rightfully considered as the "father" of HAPPY DAYS.

But then, what would the "mother" be??

It would have been the popular 1970s romantic comedy anthology series LOVE, AMERICAN STYLE
due to their memorably funny skit "Love And The Happy Days" starring Ron Howard and Anson Williams
that initially aired in February 1972 and eventually served as the original pilot for the hit show
which officially began running in January 1974.

LOVE, AMERICAN STYLE is the mommy.
The comedy skit "Love And The Happy Days" was the yet unfertilized female ovum.

The film's huge box-office success and extensive influence upon
