Susan Lucci Optimistic About Future of "All My Children" Despite Cancelation Rumors (VIDEO)

Today, "AMC" star Susan Lucci was on "Good Morning America" addressing the cancellation rumors.
Lucci believes the future of the show looks bright based on the support it has received from various sources.
When you look at the beginning... and I mean soaps back then... we don't see as many anymore.
You all had to leave us here in New York and are now based in L.A. You my friend took one for the team by having your contract restructured to keep the show going...
What is the future right now for the program, and for soaps on television?
Well, we'll see as long as we have these passionate fans in our corner, including Oprah who had us on a few weeks ago for her final season.. she said she only wants people on who she wants to talk to.
That's a great vote of confidence. The fact that the network moved us from New York out to L.A. was a big financial vote of confidence. We just received a letter from the VP in charge of finance congratulating us on what great shape we're in...
