Indiewire adds that Oscar nominated actor Michael Sheen (Underworld, Twilight) is circling Tim Burton's big screen adaptation of the cult '60s television show "Dark Shadows".



Warner Bros. Pictures hopes to have it in theaters by 2012.

Michael Sheen was rumored to have signed on to play Roger Collins.

But MTV News spoke with the actor at the Midnight in Paris press junket today and learned that, unfortunately, he will not be appearing in the film.




"I, I, can't really talk about it," Sheen said when asked about the project.

"I'm not going to be doing it, so... but I am very excited about it! I want to see it."
