View Full Version : My Aunt Marsha
Tomorrow morning we are going down to Tennessee to be with our family
following the death of my Aunt Marsha, who passed away of a Heart Attack
early this morning around 2:30 AM Central Time. She was in bed with her
husband John, when she sat up and gasped and then fell back down in
bed. John called Paramedics and my Uncle Doyle, but Marsha was dead by
time the Paramedics arrived. Visitation is Friday and the Funeral will be
Saturday. Please pray for me and my family. God bless you all. Marsha was 56.

The worst part is that Marsha appeared to be completely healthy. We did not
expect this to happen at all and we still cannot believe that she is gone. There
is comfort however in knowing that she was a faithful Christian and that she
will be with god in eternity.
catlover79 03-23-2011, 11:47 PM I'm so sorry to hear that, Lee. May God bless and comfort your family, and take refuge in the fact that she is in the arms of Jesus for all eternity.

I am reporting to you from the Econo Lodge in Cornersville, Tennessee. We
arrived here at 7:55 PM Central Time. Tomorrow we are going to a funeral
home in Pulaski for all-day visitation followed by the funeral Saturday. It
was a long day's drive from Ravenswood to here but we made it safe and sound.
Janice 03-25-2011, 12:19 AM Lee, please accept my deepest and sincerest condolence for the loss of your Aunt Marsha. She was much too young to die. May God bless her and your entire family, especially her husband.
TripperFan 03-25-2011, 12:36 AM Lee, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your aunt. I know, I lost my favourite aunt a year ago March 27th, but at least she got to live a long, full life. Fifty-six is so young and unexpected. :(
Please accept my condolences to you and your family.
This is Lee reporting again, this time from the Richland Inn in Pulaski,Tennessee-the Econo Lodge was too expensive for more than a one night stay. The visitation at the funeral home was yesterday and today was the funeral. Marsha was buried at New Hope Cemetary in Marshall County, Tennesse next to my Uncle Malcolm, who died likewise from a Heart Attack at the age of 45 in 1997. After the funeral, we had a wonderful meal provided for family and friends, then we spent the rest of the day with my Uncle Doyle and Aunt Kay. Uncle Doyle entertained us with Acoustic Guitar playing that his little Chihuahua Rusty enjoyed and he howled that approval. We then went back to Pulaski and ate at a Mexican restaurant called La Fuente. I had a Taco Salad with Grilled Chicken that was absolutely delicious. We then went back to the Motel. My sister Claire is spending the night with my Uncle Robert and Aunt Donna. Tomorrow we will going to Morning and Evening services at the Beech Hill Church Of Christ in Giles County, Tennessee and spending the day at the Motel. We will be returning to West Virginia Monday evening. Being reunited with these precious family members has been good though it was under sad circumstances and it also has reminded me of how precious life is and how short it can be and how it can end without warning. Thank you all for keeping me in your prayers(a special thank you to Janice and Monika)
We will soon be going to bed and we will wake up about 7:30 tomorrow
morning. After Breakfast at Hardees, we will be returning to West Virginia.

Nice post, Lee. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
We returned home about 8:35 PM and we are glad to be home even though
the reason for being with our friends and relatives was a death in the family.
I want to thank you all once again for the prayers and your concerns
