Captain Jack is back!
After a break of nearly two years, John Barrowman's omnisexual immortal time traveler and his alien-fighting organization will finally return for a new season of "Torchwood" on Friday, July 8.
Subtitled "Miracle Day", the 10-episode adventure moves to the show's new U.S. home, Starz.
Despite the action drama series' new U.S. location and its new network, it's still "Torchwood", Barrowman promises:
"The exciting writing, the darkness, the humor and the sexuality remain."

aww, I wish it was still on BBC America - its difficult to watch series on Starz because the scheduling is ridiculous.

What if nobody on Earth dies?
That question lies at the center of "Torchwood: Miracle Day", which follows what happens when suddenly no one on Earth dies and the population slowly begins to rise.
The latest installment of the BBC series sees the secret Torchwood institute, including Capt. Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) and Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles), come to the U.S. to try to work with the CIA.
"Torchwood: Miracle Day" premieres Friday, July 8 at 10/9c on Starz.
