Jeff Conaway says he has a new role, but not one he wants: elder abuse victim.
The 60-year-old star, who played T-Bird Kenickie in the classic 1978 film, was granted court protection from his ex-fiance of seven years, Vikki Lizzi, after he filed a case against her charging she injected him with painkillers and planted cocaine in the Los Angeles house they shared before attempting to orchestrate a police bust.
"I think she was setting me up," the frail and feeble Conaway told RadarOnline.com, in an exclusive video interview outside a Van Nuys, Calif., court on Monday.

Wow, he looks awful. :( You can't even tell that he's the same guy who starred on Taxi.

"Elder abuse"...my parents are just a few years older than him and are in MUCH better physical and mental shape than he is. Of course, they aren't/weren't alcoholics and/or drug abusers, but still...

I don't think you're even really considered a senior citizen at age 60, are you?
Yes, it's terribly sad. But drugs and booze can age you in a hurry. He's probably got a lot of neurological damage; hopefully he's OK mentally, but who knows?

I don't know if there's a mandatory "elder" age, but I don't think 60 is quite cutting it. Mickey Rooney, who was targeted for abuse by his stepson, would definitely qualify for elder abuse because he's 90.

I seen Jeff at the Hollywood Collector's Show in February and he looked even worse, he was in a wheelchair on Saturdays show. I couldn't believe it was him.

Jeff's life is so sad. I watched him on the 2 seasons he was on Dr. Drew's Rehab. They had this Vikki chick on there and everyone was trying to get him to get away from her then. She kept trying to sabatoge his recovery. I hope this will be it for him and realize how dangerous she is.
And not only the drugs, but it's the severe chronic pain he's been in with his back. Some of the surgeries he had just made it even worse and then the cycle of pain killers, etc..
I really feel sorry for the guy. Once Drew got him clean, you could see how desperate he is to get better.
I hope they're able to charge this bitch and throw her in jail where she belongs.
