Do you think Ida showed favoritism for Rhoda over Brenda?:confused: Kind of like Marie favored Raymond over Robbie on Everybody Loves Raymond?

I think Ida and Rhoda had a difficult relationship,that was explored in

depth,first on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show".

I think Ida wanted all her daughters married off,so Rhoda was let off the hook

when married to Joe,Brenda would yield to Ida whereas Rhoda would struggle

with Ida's bossiness.

In the end though,Ida loved her daughters equally but I think with Rhoda and

Ida they were too alike to get on,a lot of the time.
