Back in the day, I, like many, thought Loni Anderson was the hotter of the two. But I would take Jan Smithers now.

Loni Anderson is too obvious and almost seems to be trying to be sexy, whereas Jan just eludes a subtle sensuality that comes from a more natural place.

That Newsweek cover is pretty cool. I could just imagine Jan (or Bailey) riding cross country on the back of a motorcycle in 1966.
