I just saw the episode "Mona" for the first time. It was a backdoor pilot for a spinoff where Mona moves to New York to run a hotel with her brother.

i think if it had went to series, I don't think it would have went beyond a season. Interesting concept but I couldn't get into a lot of the other charcters. Plus, she'd have been greatly missed on Who's The Boss!
