I don't know what can be done because people say homeless people should get jobs but as we all know, it isn't easy to get a job. It's really difficult for homeless people to get jobs and if they got a drug and alcohol problem, it's even harder. It's hard for people who got a place to live to get a job. So i know it's harder for homeless people to get jobs. I just don't understand why there's so many homeless people in america when there's jobs available but jobs are so hard to get. I also don't understand why housing is so hard for homeless people to get. Housing is also hard for people with jobs to get. I applied for low income housing a long time ago and i still haven't heard anything. I heard that there's more white homeless people than black homeless people but i don't believe it because i see more black people homeless than white people homeless. I read a article lately talking about blacks are complaining that hispanics are taking jobs from them and that's funny to me because most blacks won't even take the jobs that hispanics are getting hahahahahahahahahaha. I got 2 janitor jobs that pay decent and most black men won't do that type of work because they think it's demeaning and they think the pay isn't enough.

What makes me laugh about poor blacks is that they think that when they're applying for a job that the job is supposed to pay a lot and if it doesn't pay a lot, they won't take the job. Nobody is gonna hire you for a high paying job if you don't have the skills for the job and poor blacks need to realize that. They think if they show up to a job and apply that they should get hired just because they need a job LOL. That's not how the job world works. It sucks that the job world is like that but that's the way it is.

My suggestion is to have all the homeless live in Detroit...there's plenty of housing there that's not being used.

In New York, the solution to Housing the Homeless is SIMPLE. But of course, the powers that be will never put it into effect. Every single night of the week, in New York City there are literally tens of thousands of empty office buildings. What's wrong with allowing the homeless (10 - 20 per building) to sleep in the lobby on a provided mattress between the hours of 10 at night til 6 in the morning. Add security to ensure that there are no problems and a small clean up crew for in the morning and everyone is happy. Throw in a few Major Tax breaks to the owners of the office buildings that do this and its a win-win situation.

Who is going to pay for the security, mattress, clean up crew ect ?

I was thinking the same thing...our city NEEDS 100,000 People and we're now under 400,000 people in this city!
