Did Rue Mc Clanahan die before or after Betty White's memorable job as hosting NBC's Saturday Night Live?Just curious.

Betty hosted SNL for Mother's Day 2011 - Mother's Day is in May.

Rue passed away (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rue_McClanahan) in June 2011.

Yeah, I remember people suggesting Rue and Betty should appear together.

That probably wouldn't have been possible. Rue was in pretty bad shape leading up to her death.
