The backstory is that a short time before coming onstage, she had received a prank phone call from somebody claiming Desi Jr. had died that night. Fortunately, moments before she came out, she found out the phone call was a prank. But it's understandable that something like that could have left her flustered and made her a bit absent minded. Nevertheless, there were a few comments from the press about the incident:
