What are some of the weirdest weapons that have been used in horror movies? Here are my three that I can think of:

Halloween - Lourie uses a knitting needle to defend herself.
The Bad Seed - Rhoda used her shoes to kill the little boy
Don't Go to Sleep - I doubt many of you have seen this one, but Mary uses a pizza cutter to try and kill her mother.

That image from Don't Go To Sleep has stayed with me since seeing at as a kid when it premiered on TV. I've since watched it again more recently, still works!

There's a great scene in the original The Crazies with an old woman killing a soldier with her knitting needles.

I couldn't remember some of the other deaths yesterday. I agree they are pretty amusing. In the third movie, I remember the flag pole death and the death in which the women was buried in a hole with her head sticking and she got decapitated by a lawn mower.

They did the same thing in Killing Spree(1987) except it was a guy buried.

Also the shark from Jaws 2 was electrocuted by luring him to bite a giant power cable.

Horror is easily my favorite genre. I was raised on them having 2 older sisters and a dad who watched horror as far back as I can remember. The first movie I remember seeing on the big screen was JAWS when it was released.
