I can't remember for sure but I think it was about millenium time.
How about you? When was the last time you listened to a cassette? Do you even still have radio cassettes?
Would be interesting to know to shed some light on how much technology has impacted the globe.

I played a cassette just yesterday. Our second vehicle is a 2001 Suburban which has both cassette and CD players. But the cd player doesn't work anymore. We just bought a new GM car with a cd player so I'm back in business! Do they even put cassette players in cars anymore?

My car is 2003 and it came with a tape deck, so I dont have a choice but to play cassetes. Also I still have a working cassette deck that I use to make mix tapes. The record button tends to get stuck from time to time, so I will be in the market for a new one (yes they still make those things. Try Crutcfield). Also you can find good used ones at Goodwill and such.

I still listen to records, cassettes and CDs on a more-or-less regular basis.

The last time I played a cassesette was a few years back when I used to record class lectures for disabled students for one of my college jobs.
