"Goodnight Mr. Walters"

As a kid, I use to think Mr. Walters was the boss of the Sunshine Cab Company. LOL

in a book I have about the show, it says that for the final episode they were going to expand that "Goodnight Mr. Walters"! scene, but it was scripted but never filmed.
It would have been; right after he mumbles 'Night (or whatever he says) the woman says "Mr. Walters, wait! You forgot to do..." (something-I forget what). He turns and-still with his face hidden-says in a tired voice "Can't you do it"? Then the woman comes out and says "C'mon, it'll only take a second". Then the two of them go into a side room, do...whatever...(now; get all those dirty thoughts out of your mind! ) then he walks out, she shouts "Goodnight Mr. Walters"! etc. Then he turns and for the first time you see his face-he says to her "Wanna have a drink"? She says "Oh, Mr. Walters" and comes out with her coat on and they walk out the door together.

The fact that I remember the credits more than the actual show says something, IMO. I always thought the ending was funny.
