This is the 1969 special that reunited Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore. It was of particular significance to Mary Tyler Moore because she caught the attention of CBS executives, leading to The Mary Tyler Moore Show. I don't think this will ever find its way to DVD because the music rights would cost a fortune. But at least this is available, thanks to the person who was kind enough to post it.

Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore made such an awesome duo. They could sing, dance and most importantly, the chemistry they shared couldn't be more perfect. Loved the special and I enjoyed the little "look back" at The Dick Van Dyke Show, including the extended theme. Thanks for posting the links and the article! Great way to spend an hour!

I totally agree about the chemistry between DVD and MTM. It's no wonder people thought they were really married!

I just finished watching and the 3rd part, I had seen before, but not the other two.

Still thanks. All of it was real cute, the wedding cake thing was a neat idea!

I have a copy that someone made for me on DVD and it is a very good special. It would have been cool if they did a variety show series together. On YouTube you can find the entire episode of them together on her variety series The Mary Tyler Moore Hour. It was very good.
