(,no 1940's color or 1930's B/w,Please)My favorite 1950's color "Popeye"cartoons are as follows-1)"Nearlyweds"(1956)-This color one is good, and the ending is hysterically funny.2)"Riot in Rhythm"(1953-a color remake of the black and white 1943 cartoon "Me Musical Nephews".Both are great)3)-"Gym Jam"(1953)-Another good color one.4)"Spree Lunch"(1957)A color one, also good, that is the ultimate Popeye and Bluto food fight.5)The color one where Popeye's nephews help him build his house.A 40(?)-story house.Popeye says,"Wow!!What a house!!!"The ending is great.6)The color 1950 cartoon "How Green is My Spinach"-A VERY unusual cartoon, and if you have ever seen it,you'll know why.Very good 7) And last, but not least,,the FINAL Popeye cartoon made prior to 1960,"Spooky Swabs"(from 1957,with a wonderful singing duet by Mae Quostel(Olive Oyl) and Popeye (Jack Mercer). There are a lot of good color 1950's Popeye cartoons, and these are mine. What are yours?Feel free to post.

These I mentioned,plus 1952's "Shuteye Popeye",1953's "Insect to Injury",and 1954's really funny "Fright to The Finish",1952's "Cooking With Gags",and 1954's "CAR-azy Drivers",may be routine,and run of the mill,but funny nevertheless,and a few more of my favorites.
