Almost all of the supporting characters on TMTMS went on to star in another successful series. Which do you like best?

Although I love Rhoda, I'm a lifelong GG fan.

I like "The Golden Girls" the best. Betty White was so good in that show!

It looks like "The Golden Girls" is the winner.

It's not on the list, but Mary Tyler Moore's mid-80s show "Mary" (the sitcom, not the variety show), was quite good. She played newspaper columnist Mary Brenner, and once again, she was the stable person among a bunch of crazy characters. James Farentino and John Astin were in the cast, and the show was written by Ken Levine and David Isaacs of "Cheers" fame.

The ratings weren't the best, but CBS was willing to stick with it awhile, since they had tried for so long to get Mary to do another show. Unfortunately, Mary was not happy with the show AT ALL, and had creative differences with Levine and Isaacs, so she asked CBS to cancel the show. Too bad, because this had the best chance of all her post-MTM shows to be a success.

Although I love the Golden Girl's, I'd have to say Ed Asner's Lou Grant was my favorite.
It also starred the delightful Nancy Marchant, who later went on to appear in The Saprano's
