"Hot in Cleveland" producer Bradley Gardner has joined TV Land as veep of development and original programming.

Gardner has been tapped to help the Viacom-owned cabler expand its slate of originals. TV Land has two original series currently running, "Hot in Cleveland" and "Retired at 35," and last month it lensed three comedy pilots. He reports to TV Land exec veep Keith Cox.

Gardner comes to TV Land from Hazy Mills Prods., home of "Hot in Cleveland." He was director of development for the banner headed by Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner.

"After working with him on 'Hot in Cleveland,' we know that Bradley understands the type of programming we are cultivating," Cox said.

I hope so. It's one of the best sitcoms currently on tv. All the actresses are very good in their roles.

Since I don't have cable, I had never seen the show before. So I just checked the first season out on DVD and am totally enjoying it. :cool: :D

You can watch season 2 episodes on tvland.com the day after it airs on that channel. That's what I do because I don't have the TVLand channel.
