I think she likes/treats everyone the same way. Although, there were times when she gives extra attention to one character over another.

It's obvious, it's Jo. Seriously, you don't really think that all that rivalry between them was due to social/background differences?
It's all because of the latent lesbian tension between them that
they were unable to disclose. Case in point: "Magnificent Obsession" episode. Jo tries to keep Blair from contacting a boyfriend who kept treating her like dirt. You could tell something
was up when, a few hours before this turkey was to call, Blair and Jo were all huddled up in a blanket asleep on a couch--together. All innocent, no funny stuff going on, but it revealed that loving and caring bond they had between them. Maybe it was just friendship, but-- Case in point #2: As I mentioned to
a viewer a moment ago, in one of the first episodes with Casey in
Season 9, Blair and Jo were at the community center downtown
talking with Casey when Blair, unnerved at being in "the bad side of town," begs Jo to let her drive back. When Jo agrees, Blair
is so grateful that she kisses Jo. Was it "just gratitude"--or deeper feelings?? I concur that the rivalry, the catfights, etc. were all just a thinly veiled attempt to hide the fact that BLAIR AND JO REALLY, REALLY LOVED EACH OTHER:kiss:    --AND THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL THING!! (Think Blair was more than a little jealous when Jo married "The Rickster"??)

Tad, I disagree. I think she liked everyone the same. I mean all those instances with Jo- friendship. Not deeper feelings.

Ha-ha, I was just kidding about that!! I hope no one gets into a
tish about that, as you say, but I thought I'd have fun with the
"most likely reason" Blair and Jo would get into all those fights!!
  But I would probably say that still, it would have to be
Jo, I guess probably because they were the same age and undertood each other best. I think I did read that in the first
season, Natalie was Blair's best friend, and Blair was always fighting with Sue Ann. It's interesting how this site makes me analyse every nuance about the show and its characters! And I thought that I had it figured out a long time ago!

Tad, I was getting worried there for a second;)

I think Jo liked Blair the most. They obviously understood each other very well, and it was obvious they trusted each other greatly.

Second would probably have to be Mrs. G. Mrs. G was like a mother figure to Blair. She was always there for that, and I think Blair realized that and was eternally greatful.

To NMK/LW#1,
I guess it really says something when I start to freak people out!!
I hope that everyone realizes that I am being ENTIRELY FACETIOUS when I toy around with some purported "lesbian" angle on the show!! So, as LW4Ever says, don't get into a tish!!
And as the Greatest, Most Truly Beautiful Person in the World,
Lisa Whelchel, says in the preface of her latest book, how 'bout we grab a Diet Coke and a piece of cake and watch the The Ellen Show. Let's lighten up!!:) :D ;) :p   :happyface :joke:

Well, I do think she liked everyone the same,Karli , but I think It was Jo because they really were friends deep down. :) They may not have shown it with their fights, but they were close. They survived 8 years didn't they?

BTW, who did you vote for Karli?

I think i'll have to agree with you: MRS G was BLAIR'S favourite in season 1 and she became her confidante. Whereas on season 2 onward, JO was her number one, along with MRS G as her mother figure (the mother figure she never got from MONICA WARNER lol)

Blair likes Mrs. Garrett the most. She probably treated Sue Ann the worse. Basically made Sue Ann to be her servant. Sue Ann was one of those people who felt she needed to hang around the cool kid no matter how badly they treated her and convinced herself that Blair was her friend.

But Blair was her friend. She was just more of a "frienemy" that season because she was obnoxious and unskilled at making true friends. But she tells Sue Ann in "Dope" that Sue Ann is her best friend.

I agree with you: BLAIR likes MRS G the most,:talk: and in a way i feel that she looked up to her and respected her more than her own mother (it's almost like she worshiped her, and hang on every word the wise older lady said) and was always seeking for her advice.
I know sometimes BLAIR could be rude and bratty to MRS G, but i always felt they had a deep connection and a great chemistry on the set.
