First of all most programming(tv shows/movies) were not filmed in 3-D.And then of course,it has to be unhealthy to view 3-D television, whether people get headaches or vision problems etc. It's just not natural to view television for an extended period of time in 3-D.I think 3-D tv is just plain stupid. What do you think?

I haven't researched 3D TV, but the thought of it doesn't appeal to me. I wouldn't want objects popping out at me all the time.

Because of my eyes, I can't "see" 3-D, so it's also unappealing to me. Quite frankly, I don't think these sets are going to catch on.

They do nothing for me, I'm not impressed.

I went to see Toy Story 3 in 3D last summer and it took several weeks for my eyes to completely recover from the experience. So I wouldn't want to be watching 3D all the time. Besides as LUNCH said programming isn't broadcast in 3D so a 3D TV would be almost completely useless except for a few 3D movies that come out on DVD/Blueray.

The last time I saw a movie in 3D I got a horrible migraine immediately afterwords. So the thought of a 3D TV sounds like pure torture.

Hopefully 3D TV will just be a fad; I think the concept works well for movies in theaters but I just can't imagine having to wear those 3D glasses every time I watch TV.

There are a couple of 3D networks coming this year, one is co-owned by the Discovery Channel, the other is ESPN 3D.

I enjoy 3D movies, but I have no desire to watch 3D all of the time.

Oh yeah, I'll add...any time I've ever seen anything in 3D, it hurts my eyes for a few minutes afterwards and they feel dry and strange for a long time afterwards. I wouldn't think that's good for the eyes.

Frankly, I'm not interested in anything 3D. Sure it's cool, but some stuff just isn't meant to be 3D. And I certainly would never buy a 3D TV. That takes the fun out of going to the movie theatre.

OH Nuts!

Pretty much in line with what's been said, I could live without 3D too.

TV is TV, there's nothing exciting about 3D now....

I'll take HD over 3D anyday. :)

Nah, 3D in cinemas are enough, and in cinemas you can choose not to watch it in 3D. TV is better without it.
