I saw Caryn Richman in a commercial for Atelvia the other night! Atelvia is a drug to treat osteoporosis.
Caryn's part was a commercial-within-a-commercial. The makers of Atelvia were spoofing Sally Field's osteoporosis commercials for rival product BONIVA by having Caryn play a "Sally Field-like" spokesperson. It was sort of done "tongue-in-cheek." It was actually quite clever of them to get Caryn because Sally played Gidget in the '60s, and Caryn took over the role of Gidget in the '80s, and they look similar. Be on the look out for it!
