Is it possible that part of the reason her abductor has not been captured (that we know of), is that he wasn't a serial abductor/killer as many of us tend to think, but maybe perhaps he was a one time killer? He could've been a serial rapist, or abductor (and maybe is in jail for something of that nature) but perhaps Angela was his first/only murder
Like the Jessica Keen's murderer: He abducted her in broad daylight in a city, bold for that sort of crime, and raped her, and only killed her when she made an attempt to escape through a cemetery. He wasn't tied to her murder for over a decade after and the only reason he was tied to it was because he landed in prison after her murder for an unrelated sex crime and his DNA now being on file tied him to her murder. As far as the authorities are aware or have made public, he isn't a suspect in any other murders and thus it's quite possible that Jessica Keen was his only murder victim.
Could we be looking at a similar situation in this case? Because if it was a serial killer, it's odd that after all this time he hasn't to our knowledge been caught. One of the 2 cases similar in MO and around the same time as Angela's (Trudy Darby) has been solved, and the men responsible weren't responsible for Hammond's disappearance. The only similar case which remains unsolved from that time period and area is Cheryl Kenny, and a famous case with a bit of a different MO which remains unsolved is the abduction of the Three Missouri Women from the summer of 1992--over a year after Angela's own disappearance.
Anyway, it'll be 20 years ago next month. Sad.
